In Depth Bluehost Review 2017
I am actually a customer of Bluehost for more than one year and after having a good experience with Bluehost, I decided to share my experiences with the other bloggers and visitors of my website who are planning to buy a hosting by putting a detailed Bluehost review.
This Bluehost review includes the pros and cons that I have experienced and some of my friends also shared their experience after using Bluehost, and I included their reviews also. This Bluehost Review will take only a couple of minutes. But I promise it will be a worth reading.
A. Speed Test- Load Time Test
I’ve used an entry level shared hosting plan and after testing, I’ve got a fair speed. The performance was more than expected at this low price range. It seems that, after their hardware updating, Bluehost is fast enough to compete with the other premium hosting companies. You can also check the Page speed test results of top 4 hosting providers below.
B. Bluehost Uptime Check-up
After we planned to write this Bluehost review, we have compared its up time with many other premium web hosts and what we found was an extremely good uptime. The longest downtime happened to my website after hosted with Bluehost was 1.36 minutes; this is an incredible value for a cheap shared hosting plan.
You should not worry about the uptime if you hosted with Bluehost. Here I have given a list of hosting providers and you can see that Dreamhost and Hostgator are giving 99.97% up time. But while comparing their price of shared hosting plans, Bluehost will be a better option.
C. Bluehost Plans & Pricing
This is the best part of Bluehost. You will get a value for every penny you spent. The Bluehost provides the best plans at a comparatively very low price and that’s the reason we love Bluehost. It has three types of shared hosting plans, that is, Basic, Plus and Pro. We have hosted our three test websites in each three plans to bring you more information through this Bluehost review. We will look into each other.
The basic plan comes at $3.49 per month and this plan will be better for those who want basic features and for those who want to run a single website. You will get a 50 GB Website space with standard performance.
This plan is for bloggers and small businessmen who might need medium requirements. The Plus Plan will cost $5.95 per month and you can host an unlimited number of websites without any storage and bandwidth limit.
Pro hosting comes with a dedicated IP with pro-site backup. It also includes SSL certificate. The plan has a price of $13.95 per month and those who have a very heavy usage on websites can opt for Bluehost pro plan.
Most of the users will prefer for the medium range plus plan and that will be better for the long term usage. The price of each plan are very cheaper and budget friendly while comparing with the other top-notch hosting providers.
D. Bluehost Customer service Response
Bluehost offers a 24 x 7 Call, e-mail and live chat support. But I don’t think their customer service is that effective. This is the only negative I have felt while using Bluehost hosting. Their customer service response delay is a bit high and the maximum delay I have experienced was 1.05 hour.
This is not only the case of Bluehost. We have reviewed more than 200 web hosts till now and most of the top hosting providers other than Godaddy are far poor in their customer service support. But many of my friends have a satisfactory response from Bluehost. They are usually getting a response in few minutes. You can check support response result of top 5 hosting providers below.
|Cheap Hosting Plans||You Will get Introductory price benefits, If you choose 36 months Billing Term|
|Recommended by BlueHost||No Automatic Back Up|
|30 Days Money Back Guarantee||Only Providing Linux Based Servers. Windows Based Servers are Unavailable|
|Good Uptime||Up time value is less than what they are Promised.|
|Best Load Time||Up-selling Business Model|
|Good Priority to Website Security||Slow Support Response|
|Free Advertising Credits upto $150||Renewal Price is High|
Do We Suggest BlueHost in 2017?
|Our Final Verdict|

Overall, bluehost is a good option for hosting and especially in case of money, reliability and the features, bluehost will be a decent value for your money.
