♦Uptime is Really Good

We hosted a test website on luarpages basic hosting just to check their uptime and load time. Uptime result really gave a surprise to us by providing a 100% uptime for last 30 days. They are good in uptime. Even many premium hosting companies are not able to give 100% uptime in 2017.

♦Load Time is the Worst

The ugliest truth about lunarpages hosting is, they are maintaining very slow servers. The time taking to load the web page is very high and they are not able to solve that issue yet.  Our websites home page is just 1.9 MB, that is the normal size we used to test every hosting, but what lunarpages given us was the worst load time we have seen in 2017. We have given the test result below.

According to the information we gained, Lunarpages have more than 2600 servers including 2500 live servers for hosting their client websites. They are adding an average of 5-7 servers monthly for giving better performance to their new customers without affecting the performance of old hosted websites.

Instead of using a regular, nice looking Cpanel like Bluehost or HostGator, Lunarpages preferred to make their own LCPC panel that is little complicated for the first-time usage.

The problem with LCPC control panel is, only newly joined customers are qualified to use the facility. If you are an old client, you can only use the old c-panel.

The Lunarpages Customer Support

Lunarpages has mainly three types of customer support and a support forum. They are trying to solve customers’ issues through, E-mails, contact forms, and via direct phone calls. Do they have an awesome support?

In 2010, lunarpages is considered as one of the best hosting providers on the planet. But what happened after that? They lose popularity and now they have only hosted 150000 clients. And the secret is, most of their clients are not happy with their service. Most of them are sticking with lunarpages since they have paid for a long term. What reduced the popularity of lunarpages? Our answer is their worst customer support.

In the above paragraph, I have mentioned about the speed issue. The load time is very high and that’s why we decided to contact customer care. But our experience was very bad. They don’t even know how to respond politely.

You can read many Lunarpages reviews on the internet. Everyone is pointing towards their customer support. Negligence towards simple issues made customers unhappy and their simple issues become a severe case and peoples started to leave lunarpages.

LunarPages Review- My Final Verdict

Lunarpages is only good if you found a Time machine and you could travel to past and host a website in Lunarpages. It was a good option to host websites till 2012, but after that Lunarpages become worthless. The real problem is, even while they are not providing a good service, they don’t even reduce their price. It will better if you found another hosting provider to host your website in 2018.
